Which Southampton cruise terminal will my ship use?
Terminal assignments are published by the cruise line and printed on your boarding documents. Some assignments are confirmed a year or more in advance; others can shift with only a few weeks’ notice. We check the Southampton port schedule when you book and will confirm the correct terminal with you. All five terminals are covered at no extra charge.
How early should I book my cruise port transfer?
As soon as possible after booking your cruise. We can get booked up quickly — especially for peak-season weekend disembarkation days — and booking early means you avoid disappointment. Same-week bookings are often possible but cannot be guaranteed.
What happens if my cruise ship arrives late into Southampton?
Give us your ship name at booking and we track its scheduled arrival. If the ship is delayed, we adjust the driver’s arrival at the terminal accordingly — there is no extra charge for a delayed ship. You will not be left waiting at the terminal, and we will not leave before you clear the gangway.
How will I find my driver when I leave the terminal?
Your driver will be waiting at the vehicle at the designated pickup point outside your terminal, holding a name board with your booking reference. Cruise terminal pickup in Southampton takes place outside the terminal building — this is standard Southampton protocol, so once you have cleared the terminal with your luggage, walk through to the pickup area and you will see them waiting. If you cannot find your driver, WhatsApp or call the number we send with your booking confirmation and they will guide you straight to the vehicle. If you supply a WhatsApp number when booking, on most occasions we will also send you a photo of your vehicle with the registration plate visible before you disembark — making it easier to spot at a busy pickup point.
Can I book a return transfer — airport to Southampton Port — on the same booking?
Yes. You can book a one-way transfer, a return journey on the same booking, or a tour with an airport drop-off at the end. Add both journey details in the booking form or call us and we will set it up.
